Medifast Go™ Diet Program Week 3 Results

Time has flown by quickly! Two weeks have already passed since my last Medifast Go™ update. I didn’t lose much weight as I did with my last update, but I must be losing inches since I’m fitting in my clothes much better. In the coming weeks, I’ll be getting back into hitting the trails since I’ve been super busy for the past few weeks. I’ve been caught up in a whirlwind of activities and duties, from caring for my 3-month-old and keeping up with an energetic 5-year-old to helping my oldest son with the mountain of homework that he brings every day and getting my work done and done efficiently.

On a good note, I’ve been firmly adhering to the diet plan without succumbing to temptations even though it can be a challenge at times. In the meantime, I’ve been amping up my water intake for the past week and drinking herbal teas like holy basil or green tea in lieu of juices. I eliminated soda ages ago, which has helped me out tremendously health and weight wise.

I use the food journal that Medifast Go™ has provided me and the My Fitness Pal app to help stay on track with my progress. With the app, I monitor my calories for each day as well as my sodium, carbohydrate, fat, protein, and sugar intake. For example, a diet high in sodium may hinder weight loss goals since sodium can cause water retention. In the past, I could practically eat my weight in potatoes. I love almost anything in the form of potatoes. I can still eat my favorite food without depriving myself and eliminating it out of my diet, thanks to Medifast Go‘s™ Garlic Mashed Potatoes. To give the mashed potatoes more flavor, I’ll add a hint of basil while reducing the need for salt.

On-the-go and don’t have a microwave on standby? Medifast™’s meal replacement protein shakes perfectly adheres to a busy, on-the-go lifestyle like mine. Shakes like their Strawberry Shake has a healthy blend of vitamins, protein, and fiber with every sip. I can shake it up in the blender bottle for a frothy drink or make a scrumptious iced concoction in a blender!

In addition to the food journal that Medifast Go™ sent me, I also received a blender bottle, dining out guide, cookbook, and a plan guide. Each item will be beneficial throughout my weight loss journey and beyond.
