It’s true that essential oils have been dominating the beauty and wellness industries for years, but mankind has used them since the dawn of time. Cleopatra, the Queen of the Nile, favored essential oils like myrrh, rose, cypress, frankincense, and neroli for fragrance. Holistic-minded celebrities of today, such as Kerry Washington, Gisele Bündchen, Natalie Grant, and Demi Moore, love to use essential oils for various reasons.
I have loved aromatherapy since I was a teenager. It all started with lavender essential oil. I found the smell of lavender to be of the most calming and enchanting scents! Essential oils are now an integral part of my daily life, because there isn’t a day that goes by without me using them. Some of my favorite essential oils are frankincense, jade lemon, jasmine, and patchouli.
I love wearing essential oils as fragrances as Cleopatra did. My go-to scents are rose, jasmine, and patchouli. I love the fact that they’re natural as opposed to the slew of the synthetic fragrances that are dominating the beauty market. I stopped wearing synthetic fragrances eons ago since they’d irritate my allergies, causing me to go into a sneezing frenzy. That’s not the case at all with essential oils.
I use essential oils in other several ways, including applying them on my pulse points and the soles of my feet, slowly waving them under my nose, and diffusing them. I actually prefer diffusing essential oils over burning candles. They create the same tranquil, inspiring, and beautiful ambiance in the home without me worrying about a potential fire hazard. I even often incorporate essential oils in my beauty, hair care, and household products!
I also love to diffuse some of my favorite essential oils. Alternatively, it can be used as a vaporizer without the usage of oils to help purify your surrounding air quality. This is beneficial in improving your breathing and reducing nasal congestion.
The simple, modern, and compact design of the Oak Leaf Essential Oil Diffuser virtually complements any home style and a variety of decor. It has a 250ml. unit that ensures a long-lasting cycle. The high mode produces over 8 hours of continuous operation; while the low mode stretches beyond 12 hours. This is where it surpassed my expectations the most, because I’ve used diffusers that seemingly only lasted a few hours.
It mentions in the manual to use 12 drops of essential oils, but this would be excessive in my case since I use the highest quality of essential oil. I’ve found that just a few drops of essential oil permeate the air nicely, despite the generously sized capacity of the diffuser! I also love how the Oak Leaf Essential Oil Diffuser emits a bright glow of varying colors at the line in the center, which can easily be switched off in the midst of diffusing. I find the colors to be therapeutic, especially if I’m having trouble falling asleep at night.
Overall, my experience with this diffuser has been wonderful so far. It’s available at a budget-friendly price point ($45.99) and ships free.
I need something like that in my house. My boys can get really smelly and I would love it if the place smelled better 🙂
That looks like a great diffuser. We have a diffuser that I’ve almost used to death. I’d love to replace it with this one.

I have been searching for an affordable yet reliable and good diffuser! This is a deal that shouldn’t be passed up. Thank you for sharing this!
I love this! I was given a diffuser for Christmas and I love, love it. I have been using eucalyptus, peppermint, and lavender the most, but I am really excited to try new ones! I am going to a little doTerra party next weekend and I cannot wait to learn more. They are so helpful for our health 🙂
Oh man, I need this. I have not bought any diffusers because I hate how unsightly they can be. Even the pretty ones are too big for my small house. This is just right. Thanks!
I have one diffuser in my master bedroom, but I need another for the main living room. I would love this one, it is so elegant and blends right into your space!
I’ve just started using an ionic diffuser for my essential oils and really love it, especially at night when I go to bed. I like the elongated look of this diffuser and it’s really a good price point too.

I love diffusing oils here! I need to get another diffuser for my sons room, they need more oils at night!
I have heard great things about these diffusers and oils in general. I would love to try this out for all of my health issues that keep seeming to pop up!
I definitely need this. I have been down and am in dire need of a good product to help me feel better
I’m a big fan of essential oils and I really love your diffuser. I’ll try oak leaf next time.
I just got something like this for my middle school classroom. I love what it does for the air!
I have two small diffusers in my house. I use one of them in the bath when I soak away to relax. I love fruity scents. The one I currently have is a citrus blend. I’d get eucalyptus and berry mix next time. My house smells heavenly!
I love, love my diffuser in my home office! I need to take one to work.
Natural or not, I can only tolerate certain scents, including essential oils, without headaches or coughing fits. Even too much rose oil and I’m done. Most citrus scents are easier for me to handle, though, so I guess it’s good that I like them 🙂
I still have to explore oils and other calming oil essentials. IT sounds very relaxing.
I have been using essential oils for 20+ years. For the longest time it was just basic oils like peppermint , tea tree and some others. These last few years with some of the health issues I have been facing I have found myself turning to them more. I have a small diffuser I keep in my home office and I can’t even put into words how much it has helped me the last year or so.
What a nice looking diffuser, looks like a part of your decor! I love the benefits of essential oils

I love to use essential oils. I will have to check out this diffuser. It is a great way to get your home to smell amazing and can treat headaches and other aliments.
I just started getting into the oils last year but am loving them. I have yet to use them in a diffuser yet but am planning to.
I haven’t used these oils in years. But I should get back to using them as I have been having an unsettling time lately with moving around too much, and those may help to calm me down and relax again.

You know, I’ve never actually tried essential oils. I’ve only heard great things about it, but I’ve never actually tried them myself. I’m probably way overdue! I’m always a fan of making my home cozier!
What a cool difuser. I want something like this for my home.

I’ve been using these for awhile. I travel with them. I have 4 I must have. For jetlag, focus, sleep and headaches. I literally can’t live without these now haha (well I can but you know). I use the lemon every day.
I’ve never used a diffuser. I have friends that are big fans of essential oils and I bet they would love a product like this. Sounds like a good one!
My oil diffuser is a must !!!
I had a biopsy last spring, a new friend who is my go-to for oils gave me some frankincense to put on the area. I had immediately felt better. I have since been doing so much reading an experimenting. I look forward to reading your posts with all this great info.
I need something like this for my house. I bet they smell so nice. -Plus I’m pretty sure it would relax me on those stressful days. Thank you for your review.

I am not much into aromatherapy, but this looks like a great product!
I love lavender, too. I use an oil roller to help me sleep. The smell reminds me of my college dance instructor who passed away way too early. He was such a genius.
I love essential oil! My favorites are lavender, lemongrass, jasmine, and tea tree oil. Aromatherapy has wonderful calming effects!
I’ve never had an oil diffuser before, but I’ve heard a lot of great things about it. I would definitely like to try one out.
I have an oil diffuser in my house and love it! It comes in handy pretty much year round and it is perfect and must have for the house!
Hey Lesha,
I too love essential oils. I have experimented with many. While playing around with them, I went through a stage where I was trying different ones in the bath. Peppermint was one where I would actually feel as though something was cooling in the water and I would get dry scratchy bits on my skin. When I told my teacher about this, she told me peppermint was one that should never be bath with.
I use essential oils mainly for concentration now. Lemon, spearmint and I like you enjoy lavender. Mother natures wonder.
