I usually rely on standby recipes that my family and I can agree on since our tastes in food vary, especially considering that I’m a vegetarian that eat mostly vegan food. There are other times that I want to shy away from the norm. That is where cookbooks come into play! They’re practically a lifesaver amid the hustle or bustle of the holidays. I love cooking for my loved ones, especially during the holidays. There are times that I wish I were more adventurous in the kitchen by constantly coming up with my own recipes. But alas, time normally doesn’t allow for me to get that creative in the kitchen.
