It’s hardly a secret that many tick and flea treatments contain carcinogens and other toxins. In fact, it’s strictly advised on the packaging to not to come in contact with their products with bare hands. More often than not, these products don’t entirely nix the issue. However, they’re endangering your health and your pet’s health.
The best and most natural option to ward off ticks and fleas is an authentic Baltic amber collar, a collar that is beautifully and uniquely made of fossilized resin. Amber warms up when it contact with your pet’s skin, releasing aromatic chemicals called terpenes, which emits a warm, sweet odor that repulses fleas and ticks. It also has electrostatic properties that makes them fall off when amber is rubbed against the fur. Also, amber contains a high content of a natural pain reliever and anti-inflammatory called Succinic Acid, so it has beneficial health benefits, as well being a tick and flea deterrent.
Since it takes a few weeks for a pet to reap the full benefits of wearing this collar, I waited a month to see how well it would work for our dog. I’m happy to report that I haven’t spotted a single flea since my dog has been wearing the Ambertick CT30 – Tick & Flea Preventive Amber Collar ($21.54).
You can find a wide selection of amber dog and cat collars at Ambertick.com.
