It is just a matter of a few weeks before my daughter will be making her arrival. My hospital bag has been ready for that time, but one thing was missing, the perfect homecoming outfit for her! Layettes come a dime a dozen, but I wanted something unique with heirloom quality. Homecoming outfits are meant to be treasured as keepsakes, after all.
One day, I happily stumbled upon the loveliest baby gown, the Haute Baby Lilac Bloom Gown. It is gorgeously made with the silkiest white fabric, short, capped, ruffled bubble sleeves; and adorned with a white and purple organza bow, which is embellished with an exquisite flower that gracefully boasts hints of lavender and pink. The gown touts a timeless sack style design with a skirt of matching premium white fabric that features a lavender honeycomb pattern.
It would look delightfully sweet with Haute Baby’s coordinating Newborn Lilac Bloom Headband ($12.99) and Sweet Feet’s Newborn Organic Socks ($6). The piece I opted for was the last one in stock, so I’m unsure if this particular style will make a comeback in their store.
