The Wonder Bumpers at Go Mama Go Designs should be on any expecting or new mom’s wishlist. As an expectant mother myself, I believe that this is the safest crib padding around. Traditional crib padding has caused several unexplained infant deaths. Maryland and Chicago feel like warnings and cautions aren’t enough. Therefore, they have proposed a ban on crib bumpers. Unlike traditional bumper pads, Wonder Bumpers securely hugs each rail with vertical padding, while protecting the head and body, increasing airflow, and inhibiting babies from escaping. They’re also simple and easy to use, and come in a variety of soft, stylish fabrics. They fit most cribs, and can even be used on toddler beds!
I opted for the Bluebird 38 Set ($99), which is perfect for a boy or girl since I don’t know what I’m having yet. I immediately fell in love with the vintage-esque design at first glance, more so when I received my package. The picture on the site doesn’t do any justice for this beautiful set! It includes 38 bumpers, white minky sheet, matching crib skirt, and luxuriously soft toddler blanket. The white reversible side makes it a great bumper to create an all solid look or mix with other print sides, such as the Blue or Pink Damask. If you’re looking for an even more simplistic set with a vintage feel, you may also like the Wishes of Winsdor 38 Set ($399), which is their most sought out design.
