I was recently selected to be part of the Disney Mattel Insider Program, which is very exciting for us since we’re big Disney and Mattel fans! Every month, we’ll be featuring a line of new toys. Not only we’ll be able to review these new toys, but we’ll also be giving some away to our devoted readers!
This month, they came out with the To Infinity and Beyond space toy line. This includes the Toy Story Buzz Lightyear Spaceship Command Center and various Toy Story Space figures. These old-time character favorites include Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Rex, Zurg, and Zurgbot.
For my son, it was like waking up on Christmas morning when he received the Toy Story Buzz Lightyear Spaceship Command Center and two figures, Buzz Lightyear and Woody, which so happens to be his most favorite characters from Toy Story. This came at a perfect time since he has been doing really well in school (he wasn’t accepting school too well in the beginning), academically and behavior wise. Therefore, this was a great way to reward him!
The Toy Story Buzz Lightyear Spaceship Command Center begins in a spaceship with sounds, phrases and the ability to be captained by a 6″ Buzz Lightyear figure. It features four different play zones including a prison chamber, observation deck, and mission launch center complete with a space rover vehicle. This ensures endless hours of fun for your little one since they can fire projectiles and use the voice amplifier to give out commands. The figures are sold separately.
