After dating someone for 6 years, I never thought I’d sign up for online dating personals until a good friend recommended it. I honestly didn’t really like the idea, because I have heard of countless of horror stories regarding online dating. It took me several months to entertain that thought since I wanted to concentrate on myself. One day I got bored and thought I’d sign up for a personals account without really giving it much serious thought. I just did it to meet new people, because I didn’t think I was really ready for another relationship. After meeting a few guys, I realized how out of touch I was with the dating world. I had some good and bad experiences. At the present, I’m dating someone that I met back in October. I’m taking one day at a time since I don’t want to rush into something like the prior relationship. Speaking from past experience, I realize that people can change after you think you know them. However, I can honestly say that the guy I am dating is one of the sweetest I ever met!
