Teaposy began by bringing some teaposies and a tea kettle to a gift shop in Rochester, NY. It was “Black Friday” in 2005, and they were surrounded by eager shoppers. Within a few short hours, they had to drive back home to get more supplies. A little girl and her grandma stood in front of their table for the longest time, savoring the tea and marveling at the beauty of the blossoms. This was how Teaposy found its way into the hearts of its very first customers.
I received the Teaposy Celebrate Gift Set ($29.99). This included a 24 oz teapot with loose-leaf filter, 2 herbal sachets and a selection of eight assorted teaposies.
As a tea lover, Teaposy was a beautiful and unique experience for me. White Tea is one of my favorites, and this is the best I ever I tried! Teaposy offers a line of blooming tea and glassware that will add an elegant and beautiful touch to any tea party. All you have to do is place the teaposy of your choice in the teapot and wait a couple of minutes for it to bloom into a delicate, beautiful flower after you pour boiling water in the teapot.
Teaposy blooming teas are made with the highest grade of rare silver needle white tea leaves. Their teas are beautifully scented with natural jasmine flowers. This adds a subtle floral taste to the Silver Needle White Tea and creates an intoxicating bouquet. No artificial flavors are used. These teas are not decaffeinated. However, white tea contains the lowest level of caffeine among all caffeinated tea or coffee drinks. A cup of white tea contains an average of 8-15mg caffeine while a cup of coffee provides 60-120mg. It also contains 26.3% of polyphenol, an antioxidant that may reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and cancer.
