Pretend play can help children foster traits like creativity and boundless imagination that will be beneficial for them for years to come. Young girls can embark on an imaginative journey with the four exquisite dolls (Morning Star, Shining Star, Wishing Star, and Wandering Star) from Starpath Dolls while learning the importance of acceptance, love, and companionship.

Meet Wishing Star ($79), or as my daughter refers her as, Claudia! Wishing Star stands at 18.5″ tall, has long jet black hair, painted lips, and expressive brown eyes. My daughter loves dressing up, so this doll was naturally the first to captivate her attention. I love the outfit as well since it has a retro feel that I adore! The doll’s outfit is effortlessly chic and charmingly sweet with a delicate touch of sophistication, making her the perfect companion for any young fashionista in the making! She dons an aqua hairbow and a 1950s-esque polka dot sundress that is adorned with a black satin sash at the waist and three black buttons on top as well as black Mary Janes. Wishing Star also has a huggable cloth body, whereas her movable head and limbs are made of a high quality and durable vinyl.

Each doll can be complemented with a personalized book (A Fairy Tale Gone Wrong and Tiger Magic) that has been written by award-winning authors. Not only each personalized book stars their dolls, but it stars them as well! The personalized books are available as a paperback or as an electronic book that can instantly be downloaded on an iPad or another electronic device. Your child can have their book personalized with their name and doll’s given names, or they can entirely make up different names for the characters in the book. She’ll then be able to create her own story with over 20 personalized details from her life. These details are woven throughout every page of the book, making it truly her story and serving as a keepsake that she can treasure for years down the road. Each book is one-of-a-kind arrives by mail within one to two weeks.

In addition to the dolls, they can also be accompanied by the animals that are featured in their personalized books like Swan ($14) from A Fairy Tale Gone Wrong or Tiger-Cat ($15.50) from Tiger Magic. Additionally, there are seven different outfits that can be purchased separately.
