Kids II Ingenuity Automatic Bouncer Review and Giveaway

There is nothing more relaxing and comforting for a baby than being bounced, rocked, or swayed to a blissful slumber. This is part of the reason why a baby bouncer should be on every parent-to-be’s registry list. Another reason is that baby bouncers enable you to put your baby down for a few minutes or an hour or two, giving you enough time to get things accomplished around the house or simply desiring “me” time.

Most bouncers and rockers don’t bounce or rock very well, such as the Mamas & Papas MAGIC Globe Rocker ($299.99) that I received before my daughter was born. I wish I had waited to review it after she was born, because the only thing that it does is light up and play music (it doesn’t rock at all, unless I received a malfunctioned rocker), which isn’t usually going to calm down a fussy baby or lull them to sleep. Therefore, I honestly wasn’t sure if the Kids II Ingenuity Automatic Bouncer was going to be any better.

It wasn’t a task trying to set up the Kids II Ingenuity Automatic Bouncer. My 6 year old who loves to build and set up things wanted to and tried setting it up. He did a pretty good job for the most part, but setting up the base and getting the seat set up were the trickiest. My husband’s mother even tried to help to no avail, so I ended up enlisting on my sister-in-law’s help and she was able to get it set up in a breeze!

I consider this bouncer to be a blessing. To say that it surpassed my expectations would be the biggest understatement, because it went above and beyond to wow me in every way! My daughter doesn’t really like her swing that much, but she loves this bouncer. It calms her down in no time at all when she is really fussy.

Featuring music and soothing nature sounds, this automatic bouncer provides a smooth, consistent bounce that mimic’s a mother’s natural bouncing motion. It also includes a safety harness, toy bar with 2 plush toys (giraffe and lion) dangling from the top that will also provide entertainment for the baby. It features a 30-minute timer that will stop the bouncer automatically when desired. Even though the color theme doesn’t sync with my daughter’s current nursery theme; the soft, earthy, and neutral colors are visually appealing. And considering that a $299.99 rocker didn’t do anything but play music and sounds, I believe that the $49.99 price point for this bouncer is a great deal!
