I had a family friend set it up, but I was pleasantly surprised that it took very little skill. He had it set up in no time at all! You will need screwdrivers to ensure that some of the pieces are secure, though.
Ideal for ages 2 and up, it is perfect for my active 6 year old since it keeps him busy. He enjoys it immensely, especially after a long day of school. I’ll eventually add a sandbox underneath, but my son likes to just use it as a little play area for the time being. It might not be long before my son outgrows it, so my daughter will eventually get to enjoy this climber as well when she is the right age.
The structural integrity of this climber is outstanding! I love that it requires very little space, yet manages to keep an active toddler busy and entertained for hours on end. You can even take it indoors when the weather is bad. Also, I love that it stands out, yet perfectly blends in any residential setting. This is due to the natural colors and realistic textures. The colors are warm and earthy with fun and vibrant colors delicately thrown in the mix such as tangerine, robin egg blue, and red.
