This classic children’s tale tells the story of a young farmer’s son who inherits a strange talking cat with magical boots. With his cunning wit, Puss helps him win the heart of the Princess while battling devious suitors that are after the throne.
The True Story of Puss’n Boots is slightly quirky and obscure, but it’s still enjoyable to watch with the family. This movie might not be for everyone, but we enjoy watching these type of movies. I’m well aware that it didn’t receive a lot of raving reviews, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. We enjoyed watching the musical numbers, which were inspired by famous musicals and operas. I’m not much of a William Shatner fan, but he did a great job as the voice of Puss’n Boots.
I highly recommend this film if you like the weird, obscure, and quirky. Even though there’s no relevance, but if you like Tim Burton type films, you’ll probably enjoy this!
