I was afraid that I would have a hard time keeping the Frigidaire Professional Refrigerator clean before I received it. I’ve heard many stories about how it was hard to clean stainless steel. The Activeion Cleaning Solution ($169) works best for me since it doesn’t make the outside of the fridge look dull or streaky. However, it is very easy to wipe off dreadful handprints and smudges with just about any stainless steel cleaner if this system isn’t within your budget.
Some people are known to use Windex, but I don’t recommend that since it isn’t good for the metal. I hear that the Simple Green Stainless Steel One-Step Cleaner & Polish is a wonderful “green” solution! Olive oil and white vinegar (or cider vinegar) works wonders as well. You can use this eco-friendly solution by rubbing the surface with a soft cloth dampened with a modest amount of olive oil. Then, you wipe the oil off the surface with another soft cloth dampened with vinegar (white or cider). It looks shiny and brand new after that!
