Beaute de Maman

Beaute de Maman offers a variety of skincare for pregnant women. This line was developed by a board-certified obstetrician to treat problems specifically related to the physiological and hormonal changes experienced by women during pregnancy. All products only include natural and herbal ingredients to ensure the safety of both mother-to-be and fetus.

I received their Dietary Herbal Supplements ($15.99), which takes care of queasiness you may have due to pregnancy, sensitivity to food, migraines, traveling, anything! I’ve always used Ginger Root vitamins whenever I feel nauseated due to bad migraines, but these supplements seem to be much better since they also include Vitamin D, Red Raspberry Leaf, Mint Leaf, Lime Extract and Vitamin B6.

Ginger Root is widely known for treating nausea and morning sickness, but I didn’t know that Lime Extract is also known for having anti-nausea properties. Vitamin D is essential for absorption of calcium. If you’re using this for just pregnancy, calcium is critical for the proper skeletal development of the fetus. Most pregnant women, especially those with nausea and vomiting, are deficient in Vitamin D despite taking prenatal vitamins.
