Brand Down Under focuses on offering innovative baby products from Australia. They proudly offer 7 top notch Australian brands, such as OiOi Baby Bags, Bbox, Weegoamigo Baby Blankets, Little Bamboo, Gaia Skin Naturals, Fertile Mind Maternity Clothes, and Love to Dream Swaddles. From diaper bags and baby accessories to maternity products and organic skin care, their goal is to select brands that set themselves apart among other baby brands.
I received the OiOi Safari Medallion Slouch Tote ($160). It looks like a designer handbag, featuring an ample amount of pockets for storage and accessories. Practical touches include 100% organic cotton canvas with water resistant finish, demitasse pu leather adjustable and detachable shoulder strap, water resistant nylon lining and accessories, insulated bottle holder, wipes case, key fob holder for keys or pacifier, and a large padded microfibre changing mat. I have a tendency to carry a lot in a diaper bag, yet I don’t like lugging along a big diaper bag at times. This diaper bag is an average size, but it is also generously spacious, providing enough room for me to carry all of the essentials and more!
OiOi has expanded from being a Australian owned and designed brand to an internationally recognized label since its launch in 2002 in the UK. It shortly gained a respected following in the USA in 2003. Cate Blanchett, Lara Feltham, Kate Langbroek, Leah Hudson, Jo Bailey, Melissa Doyle, Lisa McCune, and Jane Hall are among a slew of celebrities that are known to carry their diaper bags. OiOi has also been published in numerous magazine publications, such as American Baby, Due, Parenting, Baby & Me, Mums & Tots, Modern Mum, Cosmopolitan, Bump Magazine, to name a few out of dozens. One doesn’t have to take a second glance to see why, because these diaper bags don’t scream out “I’m a diaper bag“! Opposed to the run-of-the-mill, pastels, and animal-adorned diapers bags; these diapers are beautifully designed. They’re fun, stylish, and chic enough to carry during baby’s first few years and beyond.
Lisa Bennetts, the brainchild of OiOi, drew inspiration from her daughter shortly after giving birth to her. She envisioned creating a label that empowered mothers to have the confidence to look amazing and feel equally as good. Her diaper bags are well known for their superb quality, practicality, and reliability.
