I’m part of the Nutrisystem Nation Blogger Program. I was not compensated in any other manner. These opinions are exclusively my own and any claims should be verified on the sponsor’s site. Results with the Nutrisystem diet plan are my own and others’ results and experiences may vary.
As you may already know, I went on a 3-day cruise with my husband to the Bahamas. Since 98% of my Nutrisystem food is microwavable, I knew that packing my food would be fruitless since my stateroom most likely didn’t have a microwave. I was right. The good and bad thing about a cruise is that a smorgasbord of food is available around the clock. Considering that I’m on a diet, this is bad for me, yet I limited myself to three meals a day and tried to eat sensibly much as possible. I drank plenty of water and organic tea (i.e. Marrakesh Mint and Earl Grey), with the very small exception of a few alcoholic beverages.
Although my plates weren’t “heaping” with food, I couldn’t keep track with my calorie intake like I could with the Nutrisystem diet. Needless to say, one of the most unfair things in life that I have learned is how ridiculous easy it is to gain weight (4-5 lbs) in a matter of three days. It’s usually losing weight that is the hardest. I’ll admit that I felt slightly defeated once I stepped on the scale, but I’m more determined than ever to get back in the groove for the continuation of my prior success with the diet.
