Hasbro has collaborated with Silver Dolphin Books, an innovative and award-winning publisher of books that educate and entertain children from preschool to preteen age. They have recently unveiled the PLAY-DOH activity books (Rainbow Butterflies, Mama’s Little Ducklings, Counting Bunnies, My First Words, and Making Shapes with Monkey).
Featuring fun and colorful PLAY-DOH illustrations, these books are ideal for ages 3 and up. My daughter may be several days shy of being 10 months old, but I am a firm believer in instilling the importance of reading at an early age. Not only is reading a wonderful way to bond with my daughter, but I believe it will also help her develop a fonder love of reading, which is something that my son greatly enjoys doing. I’m not boasting in the least, but I taught my 7 year old son early on, and he excels when it comes to reading and spelling. At his age, I was a little weak in other studies, yet I did terrifically well in reading and spelling, thanks to my mother being adamant about education.
