the designer store unveils brand new glamorous Disney-inspired dresses. A host of top fashion designers have teamed up with Harrods to release a line of magical Disney dresses.
Designers including Versace, Valentino and Roberto Cavalli have created their own unique interpretations of some of the most iconic Disney Princess dresses. So if you’re a fashion-fanatic who loves nothing more than reading Vogue, then this fashion news has probably got you rather excited.
Roberto Cavalli has designed an outfit for Pocahontas, Elie Saab reinvented Aurora from Sleeping Beauty’s dress, Cinderella has been given a shimmering and elegant ball gown courtesy of Versace and Snow White got the Oscar de la Renta treatment.
Princess Jasmine from Aladdin has been given a dazzling Escada look, featuring an exotic fuchsia chiffon gown which is embellished with a glamorous golden flower belt.
Pocahontas’ gown – designed by Robert to Cavalli – features soft, golden and natural earthy colors. Its exotic tribal theme is complimented perfectly by the elegant prints evocative of dream catchers with pearl detailing.
Belle from Beauty and the Beast has been draped in an exquisite Valentino creation.
Tiana’s dress from The Princess and the Frog has been reinvented by
Ralph & Russo. It is an elegant mint colored gown which features a
sweetheart neckline and glimmering crystals which have been scattered
over the elegantly layered tulle skirt.
The Chinese warrior princess, Mulan, has inspired the creation of a
turquoise and red oriental kimono-style gown. Designed by Missoni, the dress’ silky material elegantly wraps over the body.
