The Chick on the Go Kits ($199) were created for the traveler or busy woman in mind. You can easily have an entire wardrobe at your fingertips since each kit has 5 garments and 2 accessories that are pre-packed in a decorative cosmetic sized case. The garments that are included are black wide leg pants, white tank top, black slip dress, black poncho (can be donned as a skirt or top), and white long-sleeved v-neck top. The accessories are two sashes (black and white) that can easily be worn as a belt, scarf, or a headband. This enables you to be fashionably creative since you can easily create a plethora of different outfits that are perfect for travel, a night out, sophisticated social events, casual dining, a date, lounge wear, or work. I love that this on-the-go wardrobe complements all body types and that there are no buttons or zippers involved. Each piece is made with a rayon spandex fabric blend, which allows for stretch and comfortableness.
Each kit comes with a booklet to show you examples on how you can wear your pieces. I included a few of my favorite looks in the picture below.
Silvia Allegrin (the designer) was inspired to create Chick on the Go when she was traveling overseas with her family to enjoy a well-deserved vacation. However, her luggage was delayed by the airlines. The struggle to purchase appropriate attire became time consuming, costly and anxiety producing. This experience became the inspiration for the creation of Chick on the Go.
